AiP Social Media
Our AiP Linkedin Group has exploded from 95 members in February, 2011 to over 1,142 members today from numerous countries around the world. As can been seen from the chart below, our community has grown rapidly in the following locations:

Also, the quality of the Linkedin members joining our community is nothing short of exceptional:
Our AiP Twitter site, namely AiPTweets, has also seen a major growth in followers. Although we just recently launched our AiP Twitter account earlier this year, we have grown to over 130,000 followers so far.
AiP Launches Expansion into Asia in August
We are pleased to announce that Andrew Toles has been appointed our AiP Ambassador for Asia. Andrew was a fantastic speaker at our 2012 AiP Conference regarding Philanthropy in China. Andrew is currently working on several major projects in China to help raise AiP’s awareness in Asia. Thanks Andy for all your great work on behalf of AiP.
New 2013 Conference Committees Being Formed
We are fortunate to have Todd Fithian as our 2013 AiP Sponsorship Chair. Todd is currently building an exceptional committee to work with Sponsors on making our 2013 Conference our most incredible event to date. If you are interested in volunteering for the Sponsorship Committee, please contact Sheila at sheila@advisorsinphilanthropy.org.
We would like to welcome John A. Warnick as our new 2013 Conference Chair. John is currently putting together his Dream Team committee for the Conference and is talking to numerous key note speakers for our upcoming event. If you are interested in particiapting on AiP’s Conference committee, or if you would like to recommend speakers and/or topics for our 2013 Conference, please contact Sheila at sheila@advisorsinphilanthropy.org.
AiP is also forming a new Entertainment and Fundraising Committee for our 2013 Conference. If you are a fun loving person who wants to add some spice to our upcoming conference, please contact Sheila at sheila@advisorsinphilanthropy.org to be on the most amusing and fun committee on the planet.
New Past President Council
Like any great sport team recognizing their legends, it is very important that AiP acknowledge the past contributions of its leaders. In July of this year, AiP created the Past President Council of all former AiP Presidents. The purpose of this Committee is to provide support and wisdom to the present AiP President and Executive Committee. Also, we have created an honorary title for our Past President’s to use to promote AiP, namely “AiP Chief Ambassador.” It is a blessing to have so much wisdom from our Past Presidents available for our Association to draw upon while we continue to move AiP onward and upward.
Although there are so many other interesting initiatives that AiP is currently working on, it suffices to say that AiP is charting an exciting new growth path. Your AiP Board, and the various Committee members, are leading the charge on your behalf to make AiP the number one association in the world for transforming philanthropy through collaboration. Please check out your new “AiP Updates” emails, which we started sending out in July of this year, to learn more about our exciting new projects in the next few months.
Have a great fall and remember to register for the 2013 Conference ASAP.
Sincerely,
Enzo Calamo, President
Natalia Kabbe, President
